In the end Frank Warren's team won 10-0 for a clean sweep of victories.

I have to say that was some TKO?KO of Wilder!! Wilder threw and miseed and wasx caught off balance think Zhang pretty much capitalised on it and caught him flush. Had that punch of Wilder's landed, I do think he would put Zhang in trouble, but Wilder was far too tentaive throughout, he hasn't been the same since the second Fury fight, but now two consecutive devastating defeats in a row has pretty much finished him and I feel Eddie wouldn't even risk AJ against either of them, even if it could even give Wilder some redemption, it wouldn't be a big payday.

For me AJ now will take on Hrgovic, and does put more pressure on both Warren & Hearn doing a deal for Fury Vs AJ early next year regardless of the result of Usyk Vs Fury 2, I think they both now realise that they owe it to British boxing fans big time and has to be staged in Britiain I'd wager it will be Wembley Stadium, butb I wonder if Millenium Stadium would be good as well, with the winner getting a third shot at Usyk (If Usyk was still champ). Would wilder have won if the fight had gone on longer? The weight advantage Wilder had should have been more telling.

John Fury, the fighting man.

Derke Chisora outpoints Joe Joyce in a 10 round slug fest. I am thinking Joyce took one beating too many from Zhang and should quit. Joyce was pretty much a frearsome punch till Zhang got hold of him.

Chisora probably could somewhere down the line fight the winner of Joshua V Dubois, I think it is a worthy fight for either who ever wins

Qjuestion for you guys - after what we saw where does AJ go from here? Does he go for a rematch?

RE: Boxing Chat & Discussion - Geriisgreat - 22-09-2024 09:14

I'm unsure aj does have a rematch clause one thing is for sure if he uses it highly doubt it'll be at Wembley
As I said on x afterwards it could be the end as I doubt either fury or usyk will wait until 2026 I believe the paperwork was almost done for two fights in 2025 which now will be ripped up

If there IS a re -match clause (Eddie hinted or said there IS one) and I agree it won't be at Wembley) probably will look at staging it at Tottenham or possibly even maybe in Watford (AJ's home town), but if it was to happen it's more likely going to happen out in Saudi Arabia. I just wonder if AJ got flashbacks of that first Ruiz fight but is there the hunger in him to keep going after that beating? Maybe Ngannou if he was to win back the UFC heavyweight title, would dangle that as a carrot for AJ?

Will we ever see another all British HW fight on British soil again in the next 10 years? I highly doubt it. I highly doubt we will see Fury Vs Dubois
