I, too, will be tuning in tonight.
Going by the pictures on the Babestation24 homepage, Lydia is a cute and sexy little thing. I am looking forward to seeing her tonight.
One aspect I find a bit alarming is that she is only going to be there for a single night (for now). Usually, regular new babes have at least two shows in a row as their debut. There may be a specific reason for this but I am afraid this means she is not going to be a regular babe on the channel. It would not surprise me if this another "VIP Show" in disguise. It even would not surprise me if her show ended early tonight at 2am or so.

Well, let's be honest... with the rise of the webcam sites these shows have overstayed their welcome for a very long time anyway.

Babestation has had a large number of performers who wanted to be in the erotic business but not be webcam models: Kassandra, Cleo, Bunny, Lisanne, Alexa, Valerie, Dani, Venom, Runa, among many others.
When there is a new performer on Babestation24, the calls do come in even when the performance isn't perfect. Despite her nervousness and her appearing over-challenged by the situation, even Katharina had - from what I saw - a large number of calls. Remember Shorty. Or Juicy Kitty.
I don't think the days of soft erotic are over. It's actually a nice contrast to the explicit content you nowadays can find anywhere and anytime.
The main problem is the lack of the element of surprise.
The redundancy is killing the channel.
The teasing tactics are killing the channel.
People want action, something new, fresh, the unexpected ... and then the calls will continue to come in.
In my opnion, Babestation24 doesn't manage to give the viewer and caller the feeling that he is king, that this show is for him, that the babe is there just for him.
Some performers did manage to convey this message, to be this fantasy, but it seems that these babes - with very few exceptions - have no future on Babestation.

Not trying to be overly pessimistic, but this is basically my prediction for tonight.
Lydia will start the show at 9:10pm
Charlene will be in studio tonight and start her show at 11:00pm
Lydia will have several breaks, she will try to do something but the camera man will be nervous and be shaky with the camera as soon as things are about to get interesting
Lydia will leave at 2am and Charlene will do the rest of the show till 6.

You are absolutely right. If they would do it a bit more clever and would really drive it home that they are an alternative to the hadcore cams, it would work.
In my opinion "Eurotic TV" was the gold standard in this regard... at least until they ruined themselves with the "premium shows". Eurotic TV had very explicit moments, but they NEVER crossed the border to porn. They even tried to be a bit artful and sometimes I would even say they achieved it.
From my very first post here I wrote, that BS24 is trying to emulate porn on TV... which will never work and always comes across as something where the certain spice is missing.
That's why I don't even like the infamous "hand panty" that much. I like risky angles and poses ways more.
BS24 has cams, too. That's what we often forget. So they have to emulate porn to sell the "whole experience" on their cams.
The biggest thing is the production value, though. Eurotic TV had a humungous studio compared to BS24 and 5-10 Babes per night. So there goes that
