RE: Fascinating Facts and Trivia - GMach1 - 09-01-2019 18:14 Ever wondered why the Gopher in the original Winnie the Pooh cartoon kept saying "i'm not in the book you know!" - well it is pretty obvious although as kids we didn't cotton on to it until later. There are no gophers in this country so when Disney made the film for some reason it added a gopher, but laboured the point that there was no gopher in the original book. I am still not sure why they bothered but hey ho, that's Disney for you, they always take liberties with anything British written. Now this sort of thing might well occur in my new thread coming soon to this particular thread. It will deal with all thing cartoon but will be different because not only will be a place for fun facts and trivia but it will also be a place where someone can ask a question about a cartoon and I or one of you can answer it. Should be rolled out soon, so watch this space and yes if you want to add a video example that will be fine but keep it smaller to avoid pushing someone else's post up or off the page.
