^I think they would have to finish out of the first three in those by elections to get more letters sent in I reckon. Even then, I don't think it probably would be enough to trigger a leadership contest.

Boris Johnson has watered down the ministerial code - allowing ministers to break the rules without resigning - and blocked a bid to give his ethics advisor the power to investigate him and if you have forgotten - he is is currently under investigation for breaking the ministerial code.
Why can't we live in a normal country?

Boris is planning on changing the rules regarding the breaking of the ministerial code. At present you are expected to resign if you break this code. But Boris just wants to make it a temporary loss of pay or an apology issue.
But then he's never lied in the commons has he.
