But from the reverse angle it's clear that the referee is holding something yellow.

Have a look at this video I've found. Decide for yourselves, the video says red card but I don't think it shows any yellow card (or any card) being shown. It just shows the referee writing on a notepad (presumably) that Mourinho was expelled. His yellow cards were in his hand while he was writing on the pad so that may have been where the confusion has arisen. There is also clearly something else yellow, presumably the whistle.

This should clear things up...
Referee Fernandez shows yellow card near Real Madrid coach Mourinho during Spanish first division match in Palma de Mallorca - Sunday August 29, 10:21 PM

Bradford promoted to League One after beating Northampton 3-0 in the League Two play off final. Showed real class too - all their players consoled Northampton's before starting the celebrations.
I'll definitely be up for an away day at Valley Parade next season, never been to that ground.

I remember going there in 2001 when Wolves won 3-0 with a hat-trick from Adam Proudlock . Whatever happened to him?
Nice ground from memory. Loved the pies too .
Yep it was me who ate all the pies that day .
