Looks like he officially leaves on 2nd June.
Mourinho is the longest serving manager in La Liga, having been at Madrid for 3 seasons, so it's probably time for a change. Elsewhere rumour has it that Stoke have parted company with Pulis. Not yet confirmed.

For a club like west ham 12million is a lot to part with and I wonder how his wages are gonna be like, that's like their whole transfer kitty gone

12million is what price we should have pay for him, 35 million is ridiculous and 23million loss is stupid.
RE: Football Banter - shano123 - 21-05-2013 20:03
Still think he would have done something for liverpool I mean he won't start but just to bring on when a game is tight, giroud does appear useless in games but he does hold the ball well and bring others to play, that's what Liverpool could have used.
RE: Football Banter - Fernandez Esperenda - 21-05-2013 20:44
But spending 35million on a player just to bring on now and again is no good, £35 million could have bought a higuain or Ibrahimovic or Cavani, if we had cavani and suarez just imagine.

It's true what your saying I guess it's much to do with signing him on deadline day where clubs will pay anything to land their targets lol

The King brought Suarez in to partner Torres don't forget. Equally as mouth watering a prospect at the time as Cavani and Suarez. He never expected to have to shell out 35 million for another striker.
It was needs must the price we paid for Andy. Torres left on the last day of the window, I remember that day like it was yesterday and how it all unfolded. We found ourselves a world class striker down and he needed replacing in a matter of hours... Carroll was tearing the premiership up at the time, his was the name on everybody's lips. We bid £15m for him to start with, but Newcastle had us by the balls. They knew we had £50 million from the Torres sale burning a hole in our pockets with only hours to spend it on a replacement. We doubled our bid of £15m in 2 hours and they still wouldn't sell! They finally said yes at £35m.
Football's a crazy business at times.
Carroll would start every week in most teams. Huge price tag or not. He's just unlucky that Rodgers walked through the gates at Anfield.
