He celebrated his second goal by taking off his shirt and striking a typically defiant pose. "They didn't get angry because I was booked for taking my shirt off, but they saw my physique and got jealous," he joked.

I heard as well they call Balotelli Il Postman, because he said he doesn't celebrate goals, as its his job, does a postman celebrate when he deliver lettersBounce

He's fucking crazy, but in a way you got to like him

Depends if that postman gets to deliver his parcel in the back door Big Laugh

I like Ballotelli, he's a real character. Never a dull moment on or off the pitch.

It just means instead of having 1 or 2 host countries with 12 cities for the matches there would instead be 12 host countries each with 1 city for the matches. In other words each of the 6 groups (now that there are 24 teams) would have 2 host countries, so that Portugal and Spain could be the hosts for 1 group, and say Greece and Turkey could host another group. I think the main problem would be for the travelling fans. Say if England were drawn in the Greece and Turkey group and qualified from it and then had to play the next round in Madrid and then the round after that (quarter final) in Moscow or Kiev. The plan might be rejected for this reason.

Spain have great in the first half, they are controlling the game. Italy need to go back to 3 5 2 and get some possession and take some control of the game. We could be witnessing history here, if Spain win this match

spain formation 4 6 0, the opening de rossi was at centre half pinging long balls to the strikers becuase pirlo was out numbered in the middle with no space.

gianluca vilia is a pretty good pundit for the bbc. i hope the bbc keep him for the match of day shows.

torres goal (spains 3rd) was torres of old (2007-2009).

A masterclass performance from Spain, brilliant to watch. They will be remembered as one of the greatest football teams ever to be seen

Would you say they are on a par with Brazil in 1970? They were just awesome in the second half and thnk they are def the blueprint for International football for the future. I would say winning in Brazil 2014 would be their peak. But I wouldn't be surprised if they were to field a strong team in the Olympics.
