Lately I've been listening to some old school bands like Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Guns N' Roses(the old stuff), The Beatles, Oasis and as a result its left me feeling that the standard of music right now is pretty poor as far as good old rock goes, maybe its just me though but I don't think that there has actually been a good rock album released in the last five years.

I love listening to AC/DC, Moterhead, Ironmaiden and Meat Loaf mostly.
But currently i'm listening to DragonForce.
I'd have to agree with you Bosse on the standard of music right now, it just seems if they have a gimmick that's all that matters.

yea, i agree, music isn't as good as it used to be. even old bands are releasing albums that aren't as good as their older material

Yeah I agree mate, like the new Metallica album, what a fucking load of wank that was and it got hailed as the second coming of Christ, didn't mind Chinese Democracy though.

Airbourne are a great band, they actually remind me of AC/DC in their prime.
