I have to say I do agree with what eyes' has said here.
The end of the day these poeple are just there for a bit of fun, you shouldnt get yourself too attached to someone on screen anyway and as for saying they are your friend, I understand the market they are there for but they are being paid to read your text message, nothing more.
If this show does go in January, it will be replaced by something that will entertain just as much but clearly it is not making cellcast the money they desire

Thanks for the petition. Although we can start as many petitions Facebook groups send emails etc as we want, but at the end of the day the ONLY thing that will save the chat is contacting the show and making it some money. The girls know at this time of year especially they are fighting a loosing battle. Charlie was saying yesterday that even if they make the money needed this month if jam was the same they'd close in feb! It would be a month by month thing I guess Sad

i do agree if you think these girls will ever truly be your friend you are most probably wrong.

but still its funny how metarzan and eyesonly4u claim to have these active social lives where they go down the pub and chat to real women then come home and have to ring a night time girl to get their rocks off, look at the end of the day we're all in the same boat here we ring these women for the same reason don't kid yourself you better than us cus you ring one of the other channels you pay the bills you ring whoever you want but too sit there having digs at chat presenters online where most of the girls don't read it anyway you must be real big men why not send in a text telling them how you feel you never know your text might even save the show, remember what you gonna pick on, on the 11th jan if the chats not here, what girls you gonna pick on then vikki, emma, becky, suzy

just had a thought these real women you speak to down the pub it ain't the barmaid when your asking for a drink are theyBounce

As much as I like The Chat,it has gone downhill and IF it goes then I will not miss texting or ringing it.

I will miss 99% of the presenters but thats all I will miss

I think its sad that the show seems to be ending. Its been there for quite a while now... I've never got too attached to any of the girls, but I'll be sorry to see it go. Sad

The babes will no doubt get presenter jobs on shopping channels and gaming channels. Luci, Charlie and Layla are my favourite chat presenters. I wish them and all the other girls the very best of luck for the future in whatever they decide to do next. Smile

Re 'The Chat' and all the 'Girls', well if it does go I for one will miss it, !eek!with the girls chatting to each other on all subjects it's been very enjoyable. Bounce All the girls that are on at present are very pleasent with perhaps one and she gets a wee bit moody now and then but who doesn't. am sorry to be mean but the chat as a 900 channel is just wrong and practially unworkable.

they should if it stays reduce the call rate to 50p a min throw the channel in the lifestyle section and have more intereaction.
