tonight best episode ever CoolCoolCool

fantastic "entertainment"

Great stuff from the lads tonight!

Ok, much of it is staged for the cameras, and individually the three of them are decent presenters at best, but put them all together in a situation like that and something magical seems to happen Smile

It was the "factual" bits I liked the best Smile I was reminded of "World's Most Dangerous Roads" with some of the dirt roads, but that's to be expected.

Great show last night, some of the scenary was breathtaking,it was also a timely reminder of how bad some peoples living conditions are, made me realise how fortuneate most of us are.

when they went to the states to do the muscle car trip a 2-3 years back after winning an emmy or 2, they had to have visas which stated they had to be factual not entertaining. the show is a mix of both but its more entertainment than factual which is the point. old top gear and fifth gear are factual but i have not seen fifth gear since the first series.

there have been some great tv moments this year in top gear, car rugby, this african trip, wembley to san siro race was good. i think they should do more cheap car challenges.

epic conclusion to the african adventure,i thought the first african special was brilliant but this was even better, hats off to clarkson, hammond and may ,and of course the seen for once crew who accompany them on these astounding journeys CoolCoolCool

RE: Top Gear - Doddle - 11-03-2013 08:32

Yes, I thought they kept up the standard from the first week. Outstanding scenery from Africa, too Smile

RE: Top Gear - The Silent Majority - 11-03-2013 13:03

Great stuff, they'll have their work cut out to top that next year Smile

They're either very good actors or they were genuinely surprised they all survived the raft. Had to laugh when the producers lost the back-up car in the river laugh

Well, that's that for this year. No more new shows until next year. Sad

Back in the summer, according to Clarkson on Twitter.
