Did anyone catch the one last week about Orion? A bloke called Jimmy Ellis sang the same style as Elvis, and after Presley died, he had a brief few years of fame wearing a mask as 'Orion' and pretending to be a resurrected Elvis. You maybe had to see it to believe it.

Caught up with The Story of Anvil, which was on SA a couple of weeks back. The first part with their disastrous European tour feels like "so Spinal Tap, even our drummer is called Rob Reiner". Then there's the psycho-drama of trying to get their new 13th (!) album paid for, and then the final revelation in Japan. At least they finally worked out it was cheaper to home-sell the CDs than arse about with a big record company. Mind you, this was 2008, so I dunno how things went from there.

For anyone interested, the BBC are reshowing Prince: A Purple Reign, tonight, on BBC Four, at 22:00.

Last week's coverage of R1 Big Weekend did point up one disadvantage of the end of BBC3. I assume BBC4 are rushing through TOTP repeats because they'll need extra coverage for the Olympics & World Cup & Glastonbury & etc
