Arsenal 2-0 up at Monaco. With just 10 mins left to play.

What a cracking goal from Ramsey there to level the aggregate score with Monaco. Arsenal only need one more goal to go through and that would be some comeback if you ask me Smile

It would be the biggest come since 1982 when my Dundee United side went there and put 5 past them after also losing the 1st leg at home.

I have to say Arsenal were very unlucky tonight, they even hit the post trying to get that elusive third. I thought it was a very exciting climax to the game. Not to be unfortunately as they've gone out after a very good effort.

i couldn't be prouder of my team tonight. awesome performance against the stingiest defense in the cl and a few dubious decisions against us. but it has to be said, why the fuck don't we play like that all the time? FUCK!

Great performance shame the 2 players got in each others way from the free kick where we should have got the 3rd goal. Really thought last 5 mins we needed to get ball into box quicker so that even if we didn't win 1st ball we could try and benefit from second balls dropping at edge of box

Monaco really don't deserve to go through tonight, really gutted!

It's been Barcelona v Joe Hart tonight. Without him the score would have been a great deal more than the 1-0

They were also one of the lowest scoring teams in the CL. They scored 4 in the entire group stage and 3 at the emirates Bounce Arsenal played well and overwhelmed Monaco for large parts of the game but in the end they went out to a 'lesser' team in the Round of 16 yet again. Don't see what there is to be proud of to be honest.

i said i was proud of them last night because they were outstanding. which part of that is confusing you?

They were knocked out of the CL that same night--that was my point, regardless of how good the performance was they still went out, like they always seem to do nowadays, Arsenal being typical Arsenal, only present to make up the numbers and then off they go seeking 4th place again, each to their own I guess Smile
