Just Who exactly has given the team a kick up it's arse? Brilliant to se we have chased down the 4th highest ODI total, it is possible to think that the only reason England were so sh*t in ODI (as Rammy put it so nicely! name check for you there Rammy! Tongue) was it because of the way Moores coached the team - or is it because Andrew Strauss has indicated there is no possible return for KP?
coincidence or what Maybe now at least we have a more than just a glimmer of hope for the forthcoming Ashes series....

A day where records tumbled.
England's highest chasing score, second highest ODI 3 wicket partnership, 4 highest chasing score every.

and yet how is that been possible when we don't have KP in the side?

England won the toss and have asked New Zealand to bat first.
Bairstow in for an injured Buttler

New Zealand 24-1 off 5 overs (wasp 281)

RE: England vs New Zealand 2015 - Mellow - 20-06-2015 14:31

New Zealand 283-9 in their 50 overs.

RE: England vs New Zealand 2015 - Snooks - 20-06-2015 14:33

22 off the last over including 3 sixes.

Rain has delayed England's reply, although it has stopped now and the covers are being removed. When England get underway, assuming it doesn't rain again, some overs will have been lost and so a D/L target will be set.

England need 192 off 26 overs at 7.384 per over.
Bearing in mind NZ scored at 5.66 per over that target seems rather steep bladewave.
Had New Zealand scored at 7.384 per over they would have scored 369.
In reality they scored 283/9 bladewave.
Yes I know there is some mathematical genius somewhere that will try to justify it but it seems very unfair to me bladewave.
