with the almost hate thrown at jeremy corbin by some of the other contenders, it's going to be very interesting to see how this all pans out.

Have to say all those people talking about the Labour party being 'infiltrated' were just a little late, it was infiltrated by Tories back in 1994 now we may have a chance to get the real Labour party back! A party that will give a voice to the weakest and most vulnerable in society, will oppose the erosion of basic rights for workers, work towards a fairer society for EVERY member of society not just the elite few and will expose the lies used to justify the robbery that is 'austerity'. Of course it wull be difficult to win elections when the electorate is constantly beng brainwashed by a right wing press and stand by for the character assaination of Jeremy Corbyn by Tory rags like The Sun and Mail. But what would be the point of a so called 'Labour' election win if it was still being run by Tories.

Well done to Corbyn. Not fond of Watson, but he might prove a great asset to Corbyn Smile

Yeah watson was good in a select committee that was doing all the phone hacking stuff very forensic in questioning

Actually thought corbyns speech was good sick of the Media Muppets and islington champagne socialists whining about labour going to lose elections for next 10 years

Well done Corbyn, he may not be everyones cup of tea but at least he is honest about his beliefs and it serves the other candidates right for betraying their principles in pursuit of government.

Well done Jeremy Corbyn
We are in for some interesting times ahead because labour finally has a leader who is true to the founding socialist principles of the party. This is unlike the blairites/brownites etc, whose major concern seemed to be helping the rich as much as possible.

(12-09-2015 11:40 )Charlemagne Wrote:  Tom Watson has become the deputy leader of the Labour Party

And Jeremy Corbyn has been elected the leader with 59.5% of the overall votes in the 1st round

So then it's going to be the Tom and Jerry show. Big Laugh

Haha Corbyn in the pub singing in Red Flag reminded me of a certain Revolutionary from Tooting

Apparently there are talks to do a remake of Citizen smith

I see Nicola Sturgeon using Labour disunity as an excuse to push for a 2nd Scottish Ref in the scottish election next year
