TNA Turning Point(19/11/06)

Samoa Joe vs Kurt Angle

Back when TNA was innovative and exciting they booked scorchers like this.Quite simply, one of the most anticipated, brutal, emotional and realistic matches ever seen on American soil. The array of holds, throws and suplexes was unbelievable to watch.Astonishing that most people(including me)who thought Angle was finished due to his extensive neck injuries were proved wrong.

5/5

Shinsuke Nakamura vs Sami Zayn NXT Takeover(01/04/16)

The presentation of Nakamura was absolutely exquisite and the heat the two men received from the Dallas crowd was completely deserved.A fine example of how a wrestling match should be booked.I won't give too much away as I want as many people to watch the match themselves and be thoroughly entertained like I was.

4.5/5

I have rewatched this three times already, you have explained it well there is not much more to be said apart from seeing it yourselves, an incredible match and a contender for the best of the year already that I have no doubt.

4.5/5.

WWF Wrestlemania 10(20/03/1994)

Ladder Match for the I.C title

Razor Ramon( c ) vs Shawn Michaels ( c )

Went back to 1994 to watch a half decent wrestlemania. The backstory was that Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon both laid claim to the I.C title and both had a belt in his possession. So both belts were suspended above the ring to be claimed.Ramon was always a hard worker in his prime and took a lot of pride in his work.Ladder matches were not commonly used at this time in the WWF and the innovation showed by both men in using the ladder as weapon had the Madison Square Garden crowd in awe.Michaels took huge bumps and even performed a big splash from the top of the ladder to punish Ramon, who also did his fare share. It wasn't a brutal match in the traditional sense, there was no blood and no one took any short cuts in order to cover up limitations or garner cheap heat. But it seemed there was a genuine sense of jeopardy and risk of injury like I'd never seen before.Ramon goes over in the end by capitalising on Michaels being trapped in the ropes.

NOAH(10/07/11)GHC heavyweight title match

Takashi Sugiura( c )vs Go Shiozaki

A truly spectacular and dramatic affair this one was.
Shiozaki pinned Sugiura-who had held the championship since December 2009-at 29:48 of a gruelling match up.The chemistry and synchronicity between the two was palpable.

Shawn Michaels vs Jeff Jarrett- In Your House II.

A great example of a forgotten, and bona fide, classic. Great timing from both- arguably a career performance from JJ, and a seriously insane bump over the turnbuckle from HBK. If you haven't seen it FIND IT. Superb 5/5.
