As the final is in Kolkata where the pitch is likely to be much more in favour of the spinners I think we'd prefer the Windies but we are the in-form side at the moment so should be confident against either. That was superb today, so good to feel proud of an England team at a major event again RE: World Twenty20 2016 - Snooks - 30-03-2016 20:52 England hit their straps today for sure. Excellent in the catching and ground fielding. Moeen Ali pulled the New Zealand innings back in the middle overs and set up some superb death bowling. Roy played beautifully for his 78 with good contributions down the order too. Hopefully Captain Morgan will come to the party with the bat in the final when it really counts. RE: World Twenty20 2016 - tee - 30-03-2016 20:57 First of all big congrats to England for reaching the final. Who would have thought this team would even get this far when they were battered by West Indies in first game and conceded over 200 runs against South Africa in that first innings. That jo root innings has inspired the England team and given them the belief to go forward. Plus hard work in training had paid off too. Saw that video from rob key with English players practicing and how hard they've worked. Not having the big ego player like Kevin Peterson has worked well and hopefully shut up piers Morgan who was up KPs backside and kept slagging off Morgan. RE: World Twenty20 2016 - tee - 30-03-2016 21:02 West Indies or India. It's obvious India will Win tmws game. I won't be surprised windies throw the game just like Bangladesh did, Australia middle innings collapse and Pakistan team not having any spinners on spinner based pitch. Most of windies players play IPL so they defiantly will favour the Indians. RE: World Twenty20 2016 - lovebabes56 - 30-03-2016 21:17 hope the women recover from losing by 5 runs to Australia That must have been hard to take RE: World Twenty20 2016 - Charlemagne - 31-03-2016 11:59 The West Indies women team have proved too strong for New Zealand They win by 6 runs RE: World Twenty20 2016 - Charlemagne - 31-03-2016 12:59 It's India v West Indies this afternoon West Indies won the toss and chose to bowl RE: World Twenty20 2016 - William H Bonney - 31-03-2016 15:17 Innings closed on 192/2 - do India have enough? West Indies actually bowled OK, but missed a couple of run outs which could prove costly. RE: World Twenty20 2016 - Snooks - 31-03-2016 17:06 West Indies 196/3 win by 7 wickets with 2 balls to spare. So England will now look to exact revenge for an opening game defeat against the only team to have beaten them in the tournament.
