Australia finish the day on 203/3. England are still 200 ahead, but Smith has played a chanceless innings for 92 not out.

Absolutely shocking throwing away a great chance to get back into series
Aussies lead by 133 well done to Smith on double century
Root should quit captaincy he is not the right man for the job

I see Englands mammoth 400 total that they were happy with was actually miles below par lol

Steve Smith will score more Hundreds than tendulkar?

Also can anyone get me a stat on Joe Roots win/loss % as captain in test cricket im pretty sure its awful now lol

Obviously you have limited knowledge about Test Cricket and in particular that wicket and our bowling limitations - we have no real fast bowlers!

The answer is 55.55% (won 5 and lost 4).

Australia took their score this morning from the overnight 549/4 to 643/7 at lunch. Considering how yesterday went, England probably regard that as a pretty decent session, but nevertheless Australia's lead is now 240.

After a rain delayed start
England 188/6

RE: Ashes Series 2017/18 - lovebabes56 - 18-12-2017 08:00

Now 196/7
Malan gone for 54 and so have the Ashes

What are the odds of England avoiding the white wash?

RE: Ashes Series 2017/18 - lovebabes56 - 18-12-2017 09:00

Aussies regain Ashes
Selectors need to take a long hard look themselves and admit this was mission impossible
Only Malan & Bairstow have shown any real credibility with bat

Avoiding white wash would be a miracle
