sorry only just saw that was a sky news sources saying there are at least 70 missing presumed dead. they had it as official figure as breaking news then changed it to sky sources
guessing nobody above 14th floor stood a chance really the rate it spread

Okay so I'm in a bit of a pickle here because what I'm going to say might be agreeing with Wackawoo but on the Lily Allen thing what she said was that the media were failing to report the real death toll. This is bollocks. I've seen all the main news channels and a number of papers and the ones I've seen/read have reported what the police and fire service have said - that is known deaths and the expectation that the number will rise including that it may be up to 100.
Does she or anyone on this forum want wild speculation or the information given by the officials at the scene?

^maybe she's getting caught up with the emotions at the scene, it seems to be the sentiment of alot of people. i'm sure if they thought about it without the emotion they would realise they were wrong. the authorities can't and wont speculate on numbers the of dead.
wakawoo was saying they're only doing it for publicity and not for altruistic reasons, which in the main is very wrong. thinking the worst of humanity seems to be his default setting.

Ms Allen spouts her tripe about anything & everything. The classic quote about her not stopping her kids taking drugs because she'd be a hypocrite springs to mind.
I'm no fan of Jamie Oliver, but he actually did offer something useful (i.e. providing food) rather than just visiting the scene and putting on a sympathetic face. As for May, i've always said that if i'm involved in some sort of major disaster, the last people i want to show up in my street are Politicians of any sort, they're all in it for themselves.

I'm sorry but that March looks like a big crowd of political activists taking the opportunity to campaign against the current government. Banners from Waltham Forest in East London, protesters hiding their identity behind face masks. Some people need to have respect for the horrendous fire and its victims and not pervert such a tragedy for their own political ends.

Sky News just showed a vigil being held in West London. There seemed to be no more than a few dozen people there. No Banners, no face masks / hoodies and no shouting & screaming.
The Momentum mob will be creaming themselves over this and it won't help anyone if it kicks off in London tonight.
