By balls I mean as in not throwing the people that made them billions money under a bus by not even showing appreciation of them in their statements on the matter. By showing no regret for not being able to continue as they were. No apology for being caught out by a few fakeID's and for giving the opposition their paltry ammunition. No one wants to tell it as it is to these modern puritans that keep insisting on hitting the moral panic button based on a repressive ideology. It's as old as the hills. They never have genuine cause for propelling such sweeping censorship. And they will never be placated by acquiescence. By such meekly acquired victories they are only encouraged. At least OF could've stood up for free expression as they did what they had to but no they just kowtowed in the most lily-livered unsupportive way imaginable.

Spot on, ShadyHand. Whilst OF are between a rock and a hard place, they do have a choice in how to frame their actions and instead of standing up for those (Porn Stars, Glamour Models and others who post adult content) who made OnlyFans the massive success it is today, they threw them under the bus and kowtowed to the banks and the religious right anti porn brigade.

yes exploitation of young girls does happen on OF (which I am against), but not on the scale that it does on the likes of FB, Twitter, Instagram and apps like Snapchat, yet they aren't being targeted by banks and the religious anti porn brigade like Pornhub and now OF have

No one here supports the abuse of minors in any form, that should go without saying. We have CEOP to detect offences and enforce the law in regards that online. MasterCard are wielding a sledgehammer to crack a nut that pretty much doesn't exist on mainstream online sex sites. The vast majority of child abuse imagery and live streaming is underground and on the dark web.

I only sub to a couple at the moment too - Emma C and Penny Lee
Emma C has an Admire Me page set up already so thats easy if wanting to continue following her as it were.

Penny Lee has thought about opening up an Admire Me page (before all this Onlyfans stuff came up) so if thats the route Penny goes down then thats an option to continue following.

I'm confused, if this has came about from MasterCard, then surely every other site that uses them is going to have the same issue?

Or do the other sites think they can comply without too much issue?

Well to be fair you don't need a mastercard (or a visa) to use Twitter anyway, so it couldn't be targeted in the way PornHub and OnlyFans have.

However Twitter announced in February that it was introducing a pay model to get in on the 'fans' action, which means that in the future it could be targeted.

A lot depends on how strictly Mastercard enforce the new rules, but in any event this is a real gamechanger because any adult site which accepts Mastercard (and expect Visa to follow suit) is going to have to re-evaluate its business model. But I suspect that most sites will find a way of adapting to the new rules and continue without too much difficulty. OnlyFans is different because they were already embracing mainstream creators, so it forced them to make a decision they might possibly have ended up making anyway.

So mainly this is down to Mastercard changing their rules and the way to eliminate under age exploitation? In which case barring Cryto Currency there is no way to use any sight because Mastercard or Visa are the main payment options in the world. Which means to me no site is going to be able to show anything thats described as "explicit" or Porn for that matter. Well I guess I'll have to make do with my already extensive private collection.

I’m sure OF didn’t want to make this decision - for all the pivoting towards mainstream celebrities, the OnlyFans brand is indelibly identified with porn by now, so you’re not going to get anyone above Love Island level opening an account. Can you imagine Taylor Swift starting an OnlyFans?

And on the other hand, the porn side of their business has been whipped away. They’re going to be stuck with softcore glamour models and wannabes in lingerie. AdmireMe and Pocketstars must be rubbing their hands with glee.

Until the same thing happens to them as soon as they get big enough and there name reaches the attention of the likes of mastercard then they will be gone to

No Bella Thorne then?

No Cardi B either?
