Jordan Pickford deserves some credit imo.
Once England got going against Senegal it was fine but his interventions were key in that first half to prevent it being a far more troublesome encounter.

If you were wondering where Raheem Stirling was tonight. He was dealing with an armed attack on his house in London. They stole valuables, and his relatives were said to be inside the home and shaken up (unconfirmed story on twitter)

England's 3 goals against Senegal makes 12 in total, equalling their best ever tally in a tournament. Now it's France on Saturday night.

Does England have two defenders who have the pace to keep up with Mbappe and Dembele? Because Stones and Maguire haven't and I doubt if Shaw and Walker are fast enough.

Lets hope that Croatia put Japan out today.

I don't think that I can take any more of this meaningless chanting of the Japanese fans. It's time to 'Let them Go' or whatever they are singing bladewave

It can't be as bad as moronic England fans shouting "It's coming home" at every opportunity!

^ I'm thankful that Japan are out.
But your going to have to put up with the "It's Coming Home" & "Sweet Caroline" for at least another game. Big Grin
