RE: Dr Who - lovebabes56 - 05-09-2014 19:54 they'll be casting John terry and Wayne Bridge next!! Hmmm maybe not so much the amount of celebrity but more the standard of 'celebrity'. RE: Dr Who - Doddle - 06-09-2014 20:42 I liked this one more than the last 2 weeks Yeah, so it was derivative... at least it bothered to be entertaining as well! RE: Dr Who - *Kal-El* - 07-09-2014 02:30 RE: Dr Who - Heywood Jablome - 07-09-2014 14:17 Meh. A bit weak again IMO. It will be interesting to see at what point the writers can ease off making the eps about it being a new doctor and have a decent, developed story as the main concern, as they certainly haven't in these first three eps. The dialogue was not as snappy as the previous eps either - the dungeon scenes for example were painfully wooden. Jenna looked beautiful as ever, be a shame if she leaves from the horndog perspective . A stay of execution granted - the series link survives for another week! RE: Dr Who - M-L-L - 09-09-2014 19:36 As it looked from the trailer... pretty much played for laughs. Ben Miller was actually probably playing the straightest in it ironically. As it hurtles ever closer towards a final bastard marriage between Coupling Meets Press Gang meets Sherlock with a few sci-fi bits as window dressing what's next ?.... CLARA : "What's that on the scanner Doctor ? " THE DOCTOR : "It's bad..it's very bad..take an old Blackadder joke about bad and add a side order of bad. That young woman whoever she is gyrating so fast she's generating a temporal distortion so enormous it's going to split a crack in the fabric of space time..I can hardly bear to watch. CLARA : " I don't think it's Space Time's crack that you're looking at ...and it's not the only thing that's enormously distorting..what's wrong with your trousers ? ..(slaps his face, cos that's what she does now) You can't get away with perving like that now you've no longer got David Tennant's face.....and you'll need to pay for the Tivo from now on, now that you no longer look like him anymore.. " RE: Dr Who - lovebabes56 - 09-09-2014 20:37 When you think about it I would think it is possible that 'Rusty' could return again in the future RE: Dr Who - Regenerated - 09-09-2014 20:40 (09-09-2014 20:37 )babelover48 Wrote: When you think about it I would think it is possible that 'Rusty' could return again in the future oh shit... RE: Dr Who - bytor - 13-09-2014 21:23 Probably the best episode in a while with some elements of what for me made Dr Who special in the 70's. I imagine several parents might have trouble with their smaller kids sleeping tonight. While Clara looked quite hot they do need to do less of her trivial plots though and concentrate a bit more on Dr Who himself. Sign of encouragement though. RE: Dr Who - *Kal-El* - 14-09-2014 02:30 |
