Mansell didn't retire as the champion though, like Prost and Rosberg.

He did retire as champion in 1992 he left because Williams had done a deal behind his back to bring prost into williams. they didnt get on at ferrari. He then moved to Indycar and won the title only person to have won f1 and indycar champs back to back

Mercedes have made an approach for Valtteri Bottas to replace Nico Rosberg.

They don't get the tv money apparently, and Bernie charges them over £17million to stage the event.

cant see the uk ever not having a gp given most of the teams are based in uk. some deal will be done or go to another circuit like brands hatch

RE: Formula 1 - Roger Patterson - 06-01-2017 12:53

Expect to see a new deal between Silverstone and F1 which reduces the cost to less than the current £17m and secures the race's future.

Most Nations have goverment funding for the race but seeing that F1 has been avoiding paying tax here at nearly 1.2 a billion that idea is a non starter

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-27144637

I cant see Bernie Backing down tbh we might lose the grand prix and that would be a sad state of affairs seeing that Britain provides the majority of the teams a home and all most all the cars are built here

Was talk of a london street race might be viable compared to bringing Donnington or brands hatch back to scratch

Pity Teresa cant do a Donald yo bernie if you dont hold a race here we will impose a huge tax on you Tongue Tongue Tongue
