Bit of a misleading title... doesn't say anything even remotely bad

When asked how well the Scot, who didn’t win a trophy in his 11-year spell at Everton, could perform at the Old Trafford helm, Mourinho said: ‘I hope he doesn’t win everything, I hope he leaves something for the others.’
Not bad no, but he is taking the p*#@

Do sky Sports News reporters have a problem with calling Brazilian Ronaldo "Brazilian Ronaldo" not "Fat Ronaldo" really annoys me as he was arguably the best striker in the world, a bit disrespectful I think, also very unprofessional...

At this time when clubs are falling over themselves to outspend each other and players are looking for the highest bidder it was quite nice to hear of the manager of a non-league team who came out of a coma when told that his team had won their game on Saturday. Shows it can still be a beautiful game

Can't agree more, hope this gets mentioned over the weekend, not "Les Sulk" threatning to quit because his agent has died.

Barcelona up to their best again....
RE: Football Banter - Crayzion - 24-08-2013 00:09
Some of the Barcelona players go way over the top acting sometimes, mainly Busquets and Jordi Alba. I understand in some countries it is seen as part of the game to try and 'earn' free kicks and penalties but there has to be a line drawn somewhere.
Like there, you throw the ball to a Barcelona player so he can take a throw in and they go down like you have chucked them a grenade, its blatant cheating to me. It's not as if they need to do it either! They usually win anyway.
