Newcastle away for us in the cup, shame really, I wanted a nice easy game like Spurs or Arsenal. Ah well, I wonder who we'll get in the fourth round.

he ain't that old he is only a year older than van persie, and i don't see you saying gerrard is too old, the problem with kaka is that he has become somewhat of a crock, if he is fit man utd should take a chance on him depending on how much madrid want for him of course, they are better off getting kaka than some random unproven kid

How did the Big Eared Crisp salesman manage to get in this ad ( And before you say I know he played for barca in the lates 80's )
RE: Football Banter - Fernandez Esperenda - 31-08-2013 23:28
If Moyes was to sign Kaka at United it would be one of the most pointless signings he could possibly make...... Kaka will never be fit for a long period of time, his career at top level european teams is almost at an end, like I said before, he was finished after the 2010 world cup, he peaked at early age.
His next move will probably be to return home to Brasil.... Moyes would be better off bring Scholes out of retirement again than sign Kaka, atleast he would stay fit...

How much would it have taken to convince Kaka it would have been a good move for him? I guess next summer would probably be his last shot at the World Cup too
RE: Football Banter - bytor - 01-09-2013 12:34
It doesn't matter how much Kaka might wish to come to United, or anywhere else where he can get a game. If United don't want him it's all a bit pointless. United have better players already filling his position. A few years ago he was world class but injuries have taken their toll. That said he could still do a job.
One of the Sunday rags was reporting that Real could end up spending £150 million for Bale when everything is added up. Do the sports editors not check the bullshit their reporters are writing before they go to print
