It,s going to be a long hard grind at the Hawthorns this season, time for a few changes me thinks, starting with the manager and chairman

Jesus Christ, how bloody fragile is Jack Wilshire ? Has he ever been 100% fit in his career ? I think he must be the new Darren Anderton. Or Kieron Dyer. Either way, Wilshire is the new 'Sicknote'.
EDIT: I stand corrected. He isn't injured. It's his time of the month, apparently, that's all. Nothing like toughing it out though, eh ?

I abhor seeing blatant cheating in football. Kyle Walker should be ashamed by diving like he just did. Football at all levels needs to eradicate this. If I pay a lot of money at the turnstile I expect to see a game of football, not some ponce doing his Swan Lake impersonation.

english players are just as bad as diving as the foreigners now, diving happens even at conference level

Once again Wenger proven the media and fans wrong yet again, they have a good manager and they shouldn't get rid of him.

Or was it down to the fact Spurs rely so much on Bale and are poor without him? 3 games 100m spent and no goals from open play?
RE: Football Banter - lovebabes56 - 01-09-2013 17:14
what happens if Tottenham's spent the money, Bale doesn't fit in with Real, and Real suddenly want their money back?

Its nothing to do with Bale as even when he has played against Arsenal he has gone missing. Problem with Spurs has all been the back four and when every they play against Arsenal either the back four goes to pieces or Arsenal just simply tear through it. What makes Arsenal so good is that they know how to play as team and they have some good strong players maybe with one or players they could become even better especially if they pick up any more injuries.

AVB used to play a very high line when he was our manager at Porto but in that league there was really only 2 teams Benfica and Braga who caused any problems, In this league I think he needs to play little deeper because teams have stronger players and are higher level forwards.
Bale has scored 6 times in 5 years against Arsenal though, cant really say yet if you miss Bale or not but in a few games time it will be more clear I guess.
