stefan struve is doing a sort of mini primetime for his next fight it's less glamourous and hype building just struve being normal, seems a decent guy
http://www.heavy.com/mma/2011/05/stefan-struve-the-castle-episode-1/

if diaz just wants to get paid he should fight gsp in a unification fight then he can still try boxing after if he wants, gettiing a shot at gsp might take alot more time if he doen't go for it now

GnP TV Big Grin Boss!

What's gonna happen when they put him in there with u is your gonna get your ass handed to you on a plate Wink Sounds like he's tired of fighting for buttons? Not sure how much he's been on but he wants more. He's made that clear Rolleyes I've got no problem with anyone wanting to change their life for the better..If i was him i'd be doin the same thing.

Nick Diaz is old school. He's a fighter. He wants to fight for good money.Whether it's MMA or Boxing.Think he'll get his shot at GSP which will earn him a decent pay day.

He basically said in the vid that he's been fighting nobody in his fights.Saying he's "forced to fight guys that don't have it in them to beat me" Guys who rely on a lucky shot to beat him.

Chumps.

Can't knock someone for wanting to better themselves.Give him his big money fight with GSP.

Did anyone see steven seagal with machida there ringside at the randy couture supposedly hes trainin the blackhouse team on new techniques. http://www.sherdog.com/news/news/Seagal-Says-Hes-Working-with-Machida-on-More-Unseen-Techniques-32108 theres a bit here on it, cant imagine him demonstratin kicks the size of him.

RE: UFC - mitchell - 06-05-2011 12:46

Here's Nick Diaz's last 3 pay packets from his Strikeforce fights.

Nick Diaz v Paul Daley - $175,000 (no win bonus)
Nick Diaz v Evangelista Santos - $150,000 (no win bonus)
Nick Diaz v KJ Noons - $50,000 (no win bonus)

Georges St. Pierre.
I can't find the salaries the Dan Hardy fight & only the bonus for the Josh Koscheck fight.

Georges St-Pierre v Jake Shields - $400,000 ($200,000 to show, $200,000 win bonus)
Georges St-Pierre v Josh Koscheck - Fight of the Night $100,000

Nick Diaz Strikeforce welterweight champions earning less in 3 fights than GSP with a victory in his last fight, no wonder he's thinking of coming back to the UFC or getting a pay day for a boxing match, Strikeforce are tight as fuck!!!

Stefan Struve's quality & at 23 as I've said before if he puts on some weight & strength I can see him putting himself in with a few title contender fights.

Steven Seagal's always at UFC events he's a 7th-dan black belt in Aikido & has run a Dojo in Japan he's also worked with Anderson Silva.

RE: UFC - groundnpound - 06-05-2011 13:59

Yeah the UFC's the only place for MMArtists mate.

I've seen Seagal at a few events now Ro1982.He must be a master if he's teaching Anderson Silva and Lyoto Machida new tricks! Both of them have used his techniques to win their recent fights.Would actually like to see Silva vs Machida at some point.Pretty sure Silva could go up or Machida come down.Same team though so probs no chance.

Struve seems a good lad 199.He gets himself into some wars and bloody messes and leaves himself open to big shots at times. The top heavyweights would beat him just now.Only 23 though like u say Mitchell. He's fearless.

RE: UFC - groundnpound - 07-05-2011 00:31

Those figures that Diaz has made fighting at Strikeforce don't look too shabby. They're really decent actually. The UFC is the Premiership of MMA.How can he expect to have made any more in the MMA equivalent of the Championship?

Found this,quite interesting.

Bad news lads, Edgar/Maynard III is off. Both fighters injured:

RE: UFC - mitchell - 09-05-2011 23:37

That is bad news but it's still a great card with Rampage v Matt Hamill & Frank Mir v Roy Nelson as well as Thiago Alves & Stefan Struve both fighting on the card.

RE: UFC - groundnpound - 10-05-2011 14:30

Rubbish news for UFC130 lads. Was lookin forward to the 3rd fight.Still a good card though.
