I only saw the first goal in the Liverpool vs Man United match. Terrific piece of skill from Suarez, he really is a technically gifted footballer. Then I had to go out to the Molineux to watch Wolves v Tottenham. Fantastic entertainment, a real thriller. A point that could yet prove valuable come the end of the season, despite Mark Halsey trying to stop us.

just looked at the latest odds and man utd are still 6/4 odds on with arsenal 7/4 against and chelsea you can get at 9's. relegation odds well its too close but bookies think wigan are doomed at 4/1 on to go down.

Birmingham might be worth a wager to go down too. They're in trouble and could suffer from a hangover after winning the League Cup. They certainly looked hungover at home to West Brom yesterday.

Think Blackburn will go down with Wigan and Birmingham.
RE: Football Banter - terence - 06-03-2011 22:03
i think the arse might just fall out of blackpools season!

I really really hope Wolves can get out of trouble. I want so much to continue seeing my team in the premier league, having the chance to see the best players and see the premier league grounds. We keep battling away, been a long hard slog but hope we can come out on top at the end.
I think Wigan and Blackpool for the drop. Then its a toss up between us, Albion, Birmingham, West Ham and Blackburn for the other place.

i am backing spurs in europe for the way they play in the comp so far. holding nothing back and going for it even in the group matches. white lane produces a great atmosphere in the champions league similar to anfield, where as man utd, chelsea and arsenal (apart from the match against barca) are very quiet.
is nani a liverpool fan? nani big baby. rafeal the new gary neville a dirty little so and so? rafeal a very lucky boy with his tackle on skrtl it could have been a red card on another day. i bet most man utd fans cannot wait for van der sat to leave at the end of season after todays game.

wolves the unluckiest side in premier league this season, play good football at times but not getting the results they need against the teams around yet beat the "big boys"
