Malky Mackay has been sacked. Just heard on the radio.

Feel sorry for Mackay after what he has achieved. Sadly happening all to often with dodgy owners who see a club just as an investment opportunity.

Cardiff City an investment opportunity?

Feel sorry for the fans, not Mackay. He'll get a nice pay-off, walk straight into another job (probably PL) and won't ever have to work for a boss as bad as Tan again...unless he's really unlucky . The fans on the other hand can't just pack up their bags and go and support Swansea, they're stuck with the rotten toad for the forseeable future

We shouldn't feel sorry for Mackay.
He'll end up at West Brom where at least he will be wanted.
And Vincent can be left to manage Cardiff

The Times is reporting that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is favourite to become the new Cardiff manager.

Yes at odds of 4/6. Vincent Tan is 33/1.

Betfair are giving 75-1 on Vincent Tan. At least he knows that's someone he'll be able to get on with

Hull City are a team on form this session. They are performing better than expectations.
And after their 6-0 win over Fulham where Tom Huddlestone finally scored a goal. This means that he's going to get his hair cut.

Of course the fans will suffer the most but I can still find room for some sympathy for Mackay. Yes, he will undoubtedly walk in to another job but I know if I had been in charge of a team, developed it and helped it grow into a fairly successful venture then I'd be more than upset if my boss then took that away from me. Professional pride and integrity counts for a lot with some people.
