RE: Top Gear - mysterion - 13-06-2016 12:33 Here's the BBC iPlayer link for episode 3. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b07gtrb6/top-gear-series-23-episode-3 Like the first 2 episodes it's made it to #1 in the iPlayer chart. RE: Top Gear - Doddle - 13-06-2016 13:26 It continues to be alright. The two new guys were OK. Chris being sick wasn't the big deal that the tabloids claimed it was, and the Ken Block in London stuff seemed amiable enough. Oh, and Sabine looks nicer with her hair down. I did notice the Lap Times for cars had all been rewritten into the same neat hand, so that Huayra and Koeniggsegg are now spelt "correctly". Was that really Anthony Joshua's mother in the picture? RE: Top Gear - biggles - 13-06-2016 15:58 Chris Evans is definitely the weakest link seeing all the other presenters last night showed that they can carry it without him. I'm not anti-Evans just he doesn't fit the programme. RE: Top Gear - jimmyt73 - 13-06-2016 17:28 Decent third episode of the series last night and the two new presenters seemed to get the balance between enthusiasm and over enthusiasm just right, also good to see Sabine in the studio,in summary good show which featured some great cars and some great driving from Sabine and Ken Block. One of those miss them whent hey are not there type of thing. RE: Top Gear - Bandwagon - 13-06-2016 22:14 ^ I have to disagree with that. So far I have enjoyed the show and it's been better than I anticipated, but I still think they could find someone better suited to the job than Evans. I find him desperately over-trying, cheesy, and just not funny to be frank. LeBlanc seems to be settling in better, he needs someone to bounce his humour off - and it isn't Evans. It's still very watchable of course, but could be slightly better IMO. It's early days yet, so lets see what happens. RE: Top Gear - biggles - 14-06-2016 15:51 I think if they want to break from the Clarkson era cut the studio bits altogether and star in a.... Yes have challenges, yes have supercars but maybe also some more stuff on what we drive and motoring in general. RE: Top Gear - Charlemagne - 14-06-2016 16:00 The viewing figures are down again for episode3. Another 400,000 gone However the fans say that Sunday's show was the best so far, mostly because Chris Evans was on it less |
