Brighton out after a 1-1 draw with Sheffield Wednesday.

Pompey lost to Plymouth in the play offs and will therefore be in League Two for a fourth successive season.

Wimbledon come from 2 goals down away to Accrington to get a draw which takes us into the the League Two play-off final.

If we win the final we'll be in the same division as MK Dons!

Commiserations for your defeat aaron, as I would have been happy for Wimbledon and Portsmouth to meet in the final.

Hull City are back in the Premier League after beating Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 in the Championship play-off final.

Apparently plan in a couple of years time is to have 4 leagues of 20 rather than the current 3 leagues of 24 to ease fixture congestion

The Football League now has 2 Champions League winning managers - Benitez, Di Matteo (same number as the Premier League).

RE: Football League: Discussion - setter1000 - 03-06-2016 11:56

I think we will see more top calibre managers in the championship with owners of clubs desperate for a chance of dining at the top table they will be more willing to pay the big bucks. Though got to say Di Matteo has to be the worst manager to have won the champions league, ever.

We made it! Wimbledon won the play off final and are now in League One. It's our 6th promotion in 13 years. Cool
