RE: Scottish Football - mikedafc - 03-04-2015 12:35 So anyone know what is happening with play off between Highland/Lowland league champions and bottom team of Scottish League Two. From reading Highland Brora Rangers backer Ben MacKay coments Highland League clubs have been bullied into accepting Scottish footballs new pyramid system RE: Scottish Football - SmĀ© - 03-04-2015 21:00 Celtic now 8 points clear after a rather lackluster performance against bottom team St Mirren. It wasn't pretty but we got the job done 0 - 2 #DoTheRonnieRoar RE: Scottish Football - mikedafc - 04-04-2015 16:01 Season over for Dunfermline Athletic, extremely disappointed Pars fan RE: Scottish Football - Scottishbloke - 04-04-2015 18:53 Yes I think you really needed to get all 3 points today to still stand a chance mike. Looking at the table its not mathematically impossible but I would say sadly that its as good as over for your beloved Pars team this season unfortunately Yet another woeful peformance and result from my Dundee Utd team this afternoon, amazingly we are still in with a shout of Europe thanks to the remarkable form we had been showing up until the past few months. If we finish 4th and Celtic go on to win the Scottish Cup then that will also secure qualification for us. I think Motherwell must have been gutted when they seen our result as effectively the team that finishes in the second bottom spot I think will be relegated as I'm more or less certain that they face either Hibs or Rangers in the Play Off's, no disrespect intended to Falkirk or Queen Of Sth but you have to go with the big guns when it comes to this league. Edit - And on a lighter note Celtics Leigh Griffiths was caught red handed getting fired into a tunnocks teacake http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/scotland/32179264 RE: Scottish Football - Doddle - 06-04-2015 14:53 (03-04-2015 12:35 )mikedafc Wrote: So anyone know what is happening with play off between Highland/Lowland league champions and bottom team of Scottish League Two. Let's blame Rangers for it A good draw for East Stirling on Saturday, and with East Fife losing, it means 2 points separating 3 clubs. Hamilton, though I shall be cheering Dundee United on against Dundee because our only chance of staying in the top 6 is if Dundee lose their games. We can't win owt with Canning. I can see how it will be played by the board, too. If Hamilton scrape a top 6 finish, then it's a tribute to Canning, and if they miss out, it's still good to have avoided relegation, and also a tribute to Canning. The fact we haven't won under his aegis is ridiculous. Get John Barnes! Get Gus Poyet! Get me! (ok, I haven't got the badges). Get somebody with a clue! CANNING MUST GO RE: Scottish Football - Snooks - 06-04-2015 20:44 (04-04-2015 18:53 )Scottishbloke Wrote: Yet another woeful peformance and result from my Dundee Utd team this afternoon, amazingly we are still in with a shout of Europe thanks to the remarkable form we had been showing up until the past few months. Dundee United should be ok for the next game . Their record against Dundee is excellent. If only they could avoid losing their best players to one half of the Old Firm and other clubs elsewhere the prospects for success would be immense. Well, hey, I see that Hamilton's crucial 33rd game is at Tannadice on Saturday. So, we're stuffed now. I couldn't be more downheartened if you told me Geri was making a comeback RE: Scottish Football - Snooks - 08-04-2015 20:55 Oops . I blame the Dundee Utd goalkeeper myself though . Gifting the opposition a goal like he did just made life difficult. Apparently United have scored 1 goal from open play in 11 hours . "No, we are!" RE: Scottish Football - Snooks - 08-04-2015 21:23 If both teams try to be crap it will probably end up being the best game ever . Football is a silly game sometimes. |
