It's a mixture of two big Flash comic stories yet they've changed it a little and yet it still works perfectly, all I'll say is don't fuck with Zoom.

In Ep 20 "Rupture" there's a few Easter Egg listen carefully to the coversation between Barry and his dad, there's a big reference to three big Hollywood films and other Easter Eggs are to do with the flash comics. Once it airs will explain what they are.

Ep 20 "Rupture" probably my fav Flash, it show cased emotion with Cisco and brother now getting closer, Iris showing her feelings for Barry now if you've watching most of season two you would have noticed Iris showing a lot more affection most of it with looks she would give him or certain stuff she said. The Ep show cased Barrys three father figures and how each of them in there own way care about Barry and Hunter Zoloman being totally off his head and then killing all those cops and reporters. Plus the shocking ending which I don't people saw coming, the jokes on this Ep where funny my one was between Cisco and Wells and Wells asks about the Wand ciscos answers back Wells gives a sarcastic reply back I really love the Earth 2 Wells and let's not forget Wally and Jessie we know what that is being set up for.
Easter Eggs
Barrys father says his mothers madien name is Garrick.
There's a princess bride reference, a few Harry Potter ones too my fav being when Cisco catches the Lightning and Back To The Future with the line from Cisco "Great Scott it's working".
Rupture is from the DC comics and is ciscos brother but in the comics he has two for the tv show they've merged the two character.
Lastly Barry trying to his powers back is from Flashpoint graphic novel and Justice League: Flashpoint Paradox and when he disintegrates that's from the graphic novel "Crisis On Infinite Earth's" where Barry sacrifices his life to save everyone and disintegrates but if you've the flash comics over the years you'll know exactly what really happened to Barry and will play out the same way in the show, all I'll say the source of his powers lol 9.9/10.
