Why has Freeview been moved to this backwater? (Particularly in view of the fact that it has been frequently pointed out that the Freeview audience is far larger than Sky's.)

The decision to rearrange things was made for the following reasons
1) Party People is no longer being transmitted at all on channel 32
2) In future the same girls will be appearing on both channel 33 and Partyland (it has already started happening) and they are all Babestation girls. This had resulted in lots of extra threads being created and it seemed like a good idea to amalgamate Partyland with channel 33.
Channel 33 has not been moved to this "backwater". All future posts concerning channel 33 should be made in the main Babestation channel. I will be moving some of the more important channel 33 threads there shortly.
It was thought that all the Cellcast Babestation stuff for the nightshows should be together. This will reduce duplication of girls threads.
This section is for the old Smile TV stuff in the same way that the old Sexstation (also not transmitting) stuff has been moved here.

I don't see how this will reduce the number of threads. What do you mean 'extra threads'? If someone wants to start a new thread it doesn't matter whether it goes into one of the old sections or the new all-in section, it's still a new thread and the new resulting total is still the same.

I can merge threads if they are in the same section and keep the number down. Smile

Provided they cover the same subject, presumably. which won't be very often, so the effect will be minimal.

Besides which, merged threads in this forum are always a bit of a farce because moderators here never pay attention to the fact that, surprise, surprise, people actually REPLY to posts. Sometimes only parts of threads are merged and some replies are left stranded in their original thread with no clue left as to why they are there.
