On all the freeview channel 98 shows so far the mic has only worked about 50% of the time and we cannot hear what the girls are saying. Last night it was not working at all. We could not hear a word from Candy or Amanda.
It should not take a technical genius to sort this problem out. New batteries perhaps.
I have seen a report that Sky had a similar problem last night but assume this does not happen every night like it does on freeview.

They seem to have messed up the sound full stop on freeview with the left-speaker-only audio as well. You could try emailing them on the address on their website (web@bangmedia.tv). You likely won't get a reply though.

It's not just the free view mate, On Sky some times you see the girls talking on the mic but you can't hear anything.

Donna and Amanda are on together on 959 now. And the mics aren't working

Luckily for the freeview viewers, the mic was working when we finally got to see Donna and Amanda at 5.00am and heard the full introduction. (The mic was faulty earlier in the show when Tori was on)
Amanda said "you got wet"
Donna said "that's because you kept spitting on it"
Amanda then warned her "we are on freeview now"

Yeh i find it really annoying. Didnt watch it this morning but do for a while most days and its bad. Live TV you expect the odd time but not this often. X

I think they just like getting the girls talking to thin air, I find that sad why they let it roll on live TV like that, the girls in the studio have no clue what I going on.
they did that on Party People when Hannah was on the mic once giving supposed to have been shout outs.

Thought the mic problem had been fixed. Both Donna and Valery used it 5 times in total on freeview channel 98 last night without a problem.
Then Amanda came on at 4.20am. She was speaking on the mic for over a minute but we could not hear anything at all.

I think what we saw towards the end of last night, with Amanda certainly and later with Donna, was some dude on the mic switch behind the scenes cutting the mic feed when he thought the presenter was going to say something she shouldn't.
Saturday night Amanda was letting us all know what kind of potty-mouth she had. There was also a mic left open just before Amanda's last slot on Saturday night so I'm guessing the boss has had a word with them.
...or they're just getting to that stage of the, erm, 'play'.
