RE: Calling hirsute lovers - skateguy - 13-11-2009 02:05 Any file joiner will do Stan. HJ Split will be fine. But yes, you need to join the files as while file .001 will probably play (if you remove the .001), file .002 won't. RE: Calling hirsute lovers - StanTheMan - 13-11-2009 02:07 K. Thanks, Skateguy. What do I do once I've downloaded and installed the joiner? What do I do with the clips? Help! Right, I'm getting all kinds of warnings about that joiner. This isn't my computer. Is the one from tucows.com safe? RE: Calling hirsute lovers - skateguy - 13-11-2009 03:17 (13-11-2009 02:07 )StanTheMan Wrote: What do I do once I've downloaded and installed the joiner? What do I do with the clips? I'm not a PC user so I wouldn't know if its safe. If you're not sure, then use HJ Split instead. http://www.freebyte.com/hjsplit/#win32 Again, not being a PC user, I'm not sure exactly what you do, but joiner apps are usually fairly intuitive. Try opening one or both of the parts (.001 & .002) in the joiner app and they should join to create the .mp4. I'm sure a PC user could provide more explicit instructions if you need. RE: Calling hirsute lovers - intransit67 - 13-11-2009 03:25 re file joiner. Tucows is safe it was just I had the file joiner originally on Rapidshare as it is freeware but the links got changed to Tucows as they are authorised to host it (thanks Skateguy). It is only a file joiner but it integrates with Vista well and all you do is click the first .001 file and so long as the rest .002 etc are in the same folder they will join, save the complete file and then ask if you want to delete the original .001 files. HJSplit is much the same but is a bit more hands on when joining the files but it can split them aswell so you take your choice they are both freeware. Dave RE: Calling hirsute lovers - StanTheMan - 13-11-2009 03:28 Yeah, thanks, intransit, the joiner is currently doing its thing with those two files. I didn't realise it would be quite so simple.
