Had a quick look around, hope this helps How to split a file with hjsplit How to join a file wiht hjsplit RE: HJ Split - dondoe returns - 25-11-2008 23:21 Thanks for your help guy's...but sadly when it comes to the HJ Split,I have to admit defeat ![]() RE: HJ Split - Bosse - 25-11-2008 23:54 1. Make sure the files which you download have exactly the same name as mentioned on the website. For example, Blondstripper.avi.001 Blondstripper.avi.002 Blondstripper.avi.003 Blondstripper.avi.004 2. Open HJSplit and click the button JOIN 3. Browse the filename with the extension .001, for this it would be Blondstripper.avi.001 4. and click the START button. 5. After that you will get your single playable file as output. *if the output file has the extension .out then rename it to .avi* RE: HJ Split - TheWatcher - 26-11-2008 14:41 The free "ProjectX" program written in java language works well in both Windows and linux. It can certainly split up many types of video file without re-encoding. I think it can join files together as well. I use it to edit and convert DVD .vob files to .mpg type.
