Widescreen gone. - thestrange1 - 26-01-2010 23:34

Up until yesterday, live960 was broadcasting in widescreen. Now it's disappeared and the graphics are all weird with the moving info not visible onscreen. It's really annoying and also unwatchable because the picture quality has gone all bad.
Anyone experiencing the same.

I'd noticed the picture quality had dropped considerably over the last few weeks, especially if there's lots of rapid movement from the girl on screen. When Selena does that quick humping up and down of her hips when she'd laid on her back, the level of pixilation makes it almost unwatchable.

As for the widescreen, I hadn't noticed, but I've just looked and you're qute right. As you say, the terms and conditions drop right off the bottom of the screen if you have your tv switched to widescreen.

I know its a stupid thing to moan about but could they get in trouble for not having the t&c's visible.

No, because if you switch you tv's ratio to 4:3 you can see them.

The channel was in widescreen with black bars top and bottom (4:3 letterbox on my tv) but now the widescreen has gone and the stuff is off the screen.

Toni Samantha was just bouncing and it went all pixelated. I think they need to sort it out.

The t&c's should be framed in a 14:9 ratio (so they can be seen clearly in both 4:3 and 16:9) to be legible. Live 960 had this problem when they first started broadcasting.

It's back to normal now with a clear picture.

Good to see you moaning about something other than Angels. Wink

Can't moan. My comments disappear as soon as i post them.

Just noticed that live 960 still goes a bit weird when there's fast movements.

Yup, it's still not right. The widescreen issue is still there too, at least on my tv. I was also wrong about being able to see the T&C if you changed the ratio. My tv has umpteen different ratio settings and none of them allow the info across the bottom of the screen to fit on.

I'm convinced this channel has changed hands (yet again)
