Web Browsers - help - moron50 - 28-01-2010 19:52 I need a couple of volunteers please! A couple of months ago I rebuilt my blog & must have opted to use 'wrap around text' formatting. I've just discovered that this doesn't display correctly with Mozilla Firefox. I was using an old version of IE, when I built the blog. Could anyone using Google Chrome or other popular browser, please take a look at the blog, to see how it views. I'm trying to determine if it's just Firefox (in which case it'll stay as it is), or whether the problem is more extensive. For reasons that don't matter, I can't download Google Chrome or the latest version of IE - if I could, I'd check it for myself. If a couple of kind people could pm me, let me know which browser you're using & I'll send the blog url to you. Ta. RE: Web Browsers - help - moron50 - 29-01-2010 01:31 I've been offered help with Google Chrome & IE8. So, thank you to the guys concerned & no more volunteers required for those 2 services. Ta. RE: Web Browsers - help - Red - 29-01-2010 02:55 Numerous virtual browser test sites out there http://browserlab.adobe.com/ springs immediately to mind. Beware relying completely on others to test unless you know their exact set-up. Even simple things such as screen resolution or font and zoom settings can adjust the outcome depending on your coding. That's without getting into plug-ins Oh and Google Chrome popular? Not here it isn't. Give me Safari any day if I want to render using WebKit |
