Software for Downloading WMV & FLV Programs - Dave 1664 - 14-02-2010 16:23

Hi
Can someone help me. I would like to joining a pay site where the movies are downloadable on the PC as wmv files In addition in the past I have also downloaded FLV Files but have been unable to view them as they require a player. Also for downloading the Babes show I need the software
Would some please let me have the details of a reliable software program which also has editing facilities. I would prefer software I can purchase rather than the free limited software

Do you mean the web streams of the babe shows such as Elite TV, Babestation, Bang Babes etc? If so, they're not downloadable - you'll need screen recorder software. This thread has some suggestions of screen recording software.

Some free video editing/conversion software is suggested in this thread. The free applications have an abundance of features & functions, and from the little info you've given will probably meet your needs. But if you really want paid for software then maybe you should do some research on applications such as Adobe Premier Elements, Sony Vegas or Pinnacle/Avid. Alternatively, a google search involving the terms 'video' 'editing' 'conversion' will throw up a bunch of paid for apps that you could check out. The forum member 'Red' can probably advise you further on the paid for and pro applications. He's already commented on a couple of them here, and he'll probably see this thread at some stage.

VLC or Quicktime should play your .flv files. Or you can convert them to another format if you prefer, with whatever software you choose.

Did I hear my name? Big Grin
Actually video editing is something I don't do that often and haven't done in quite a while, I'm more a stills person Tongue
You lot here are the experts in grabbing content as anything I've worked on is original footage. Perhaps we need to define editing from grabbing and cutting. For example I doubt anybody here is colour grading as it'd be overkill for the target audience Wink
Dave if you want to be a bit more specific...?

Beats me why somebody would restrict themselves to wmv files though Huh
