I was looking at some other forums and I noticed that a few of them have a thing called a chatbox or 'shoutbox'.Its basically just an instant messaging box thats at the top of the page and it allows users who are online to chat with each other.If you want to know what I'm talking about you can see an example of one on on this forum (although you have to be registered and logged in to see it but its a good forum)
I was thinking that it would be really cool if we had one of them on this forum aswell.It would also be a better way for us to be able to chat with any of the girls from the shows who are online,thats of they could be bothered to chat with us.Or maybe of we couldn't have one of those chatboxes then an actual chatroom would be good.
So what does everyone else think? Good idea? Bad idea?

The chatbox on the forum I linked to above is much better than that one.Here is a pic of it for anyone who can't be arsed with registering.

Does nobody else think this would be a good idea? I'm not getting much of a response here?

It looks as though thats from a vBulletin forum.
In which case, you wouldn't be able to get an exact replica on here.

So if we had one of these and for example i seen skateguy on, i could put into this shoutbox thingy *skateguy wears Thomas The Tank Engine thongs* lol and it would show up on the main forum screen? Sounds good to me lol

Nice idea...would you be able to turn it off though if you just wanted a quick browse around the forum????
Plus would there be a limit to the number of people who could use it at once???
