Official Game Guide Books - little gimp - 12-03-2010 21:28

I was just wondering, Game Guide Books,YES or NO?

I say yes but only after playing a game through and then only if the game is worth it and your obsessive like me and have to see everything in the game, and get all the damned trophies/achievements!
I just got the Bayonetta Book and was amazed to see the amount of things in the game i had no idea were there, also the Book for Fallout 3 is a must buy in my opinion as that game is vast and you could (before the DLC) finish the game and see only 25% of what was packed into the disc.

Sometimes. But like you say, only after completing the game. I might look into the Fallout 3 one coz there was a few I missed. ( 100 steel ingots )

I used to buy game guide's, but what i do now is just search on youtube, most of the time you find a loads of guides and any hidden stuff on a game. Much cheaper then buying a guide. Smile

i like to buy guides for all the new games, as i think it helps u get more out of the game as i tend to miss loads.
also i agree with kalel , youtube is good also as u can watch bits getting completed that you might be struggling with. it helped me with the saboteur.

Here's a quick tip from the Bayonetta book,
At the start of Chapter 1 in the train station get onto the balcony smash every bench and this triggers the train to leave, jump onto the trains roof and ride into the tunnel, once you've gone as far as you can you warp back to where you started but with 10,000 bonus Halos. Once you have the Halos quit to chapter select and start chapter 1 again, this allows you to keep the Halos and ride the train again and get 10,000 more Halos do this as many times as you like getting yourself all the Halos you need very early in the game.
