I thought the first season was great. I haven't got FX so I hope the second season will be shown on channel 4 at some point.
I like the main characters and there are some strong and interesting storylines. The humour's cleverly written too, especially with the other characters who aren't Bill and Sookie - Jason and his haplessness, and I hope they'll develop Tara some more, in particular. I loved the way her character was introduced:

I've been watching this on FXHD and love it the first series was the best thing on TV last year and the second series so far is just as good,but then Alan Ball behind it it's not surprising,it's hard to pick a favorite character to as they are all so well written but i think i'm leaning towards Jessica (could just be the red hair).It's also nice to see a vampire series aimed at adults and not kids.

I wouldn't really call it Softcore porn there not that much sex in it for one and only abit of flesh.
