T20 World Cup in West Indies - 654321 - 26-04-2010 13:19

As cricket followers know, the 3rd edition of the T20 world cup starts this Friday with Australia starting off at 3-1 favourites according to SkyBet. To be honest, i can't look beyond them, a strong outfit, with good death bowlers.

Possible Stars of the tournament in my opinion will be:

Doug Bollinger (Australia)
Suresh Raina (India)
Shane Watson (Australia)
Shane Bond (New Zealand)
Umar Akmal (Pakistan)
Mohammed Aamir (Pakistan)
JP Duminy (SA)
Angelo Matthews (SL)
Kieron Pollard (WI)
Eoin Morgan (England)

saw some of the IPL Kieron Pollard is a beast with the bat, he hit 45 from 12 balls it was insane. he's so big its effortless, if going to pick a star of the tournament i'd have to pick him.

I'm looking forward to this tournament as its short and all the world stars will be there, obviously if they are fit.

Morgan who I am a big fan of. I expect him to do great things and the fast bowling in this tournament will be something to watch out for. I expect any of the major nations to win it even England who on their day in the limited over forms can beat anyone like they have since the Champions Trophy.

Wahheeeeeeeey!!!

It's not often we get to say this about England teams, and it's definitely something we've repeated much with the England cricket team,

BUT WE'RE IN THE WORLD CUP FINALLL!!!!!! (albeit the T20, they all count Big Grin)
We've played brilliantly throughout the tournament with everyone bringing something to the table.
Dare i say it, we're looking like we have no weaknesses. Australia and Pakistan battle it out today to see who'll face us. Either way, it'll be a tough game but you gotta fancy our boys (providing we dont, as per usual, bottle it Sad )

The final is on Sunday 16th May at 4.30pm on SkySports 1.

COME ON ENGLAND!!

Australia look likely to beat Pakistan, in which case the best two teams in the tournament will be in the final.

The two teams in the final have certainly been the best two teams in the tournament. Well done to both but good luck England in the final.

England have picked the right team for once. In the past selection in limited overs ganes has always let England down.

It's good to see England doing well in a tournament, even if it's just jazzed up Tuesday night club cricket. Tongue I'm looking forward to the match tomorrow, hopefully England will finally be able to call themselves best in the world at cricket. Well, T20 cricket, anyway. It's a start. Wink
