Irvin Kershner R.I.P - *Kal-El* - 29-11-2010 19:31

Irvin Kershner, the director of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back has died at the age 87 of a unknown illness, for the Empire Strikes Back was one best star wars films, it was much darker in tone compared to other ones and with luke finding out who his father was and low key ending made for me this film a masterpiece without this film we wouldn't had a dark sequels to films like for example Back To The Future 2 or even the Matrix Reloaded. He also was the director of Robocop 2 and Never Say Never Again, His style of directing will never be seen in again Sad.

More sad news from the film world.. Sad A top film director who will be sadly missed. Out of all the Star Wars films, although it was never really my favourite franchise, I did like Empire Strikes Back as it was a much darker, and involving film. You really found out more about the origins and backgrounds of the principal characters.

RIP Irvin Kershner Sad

Yeah yet more sad news from the movie world. Empire was the best of the Star Wars and Never Say Never Again wasn't a bad film.

Sad news. "Empire" was by far the best of the 6 films in the Star Wars franchise
