Charged For Being Sent Text Messages? - jjay - 11-02-2011 17:54

Is it normal for being charged £2.50 or something for receiving a text from Babestation? Thats kind of absurd...

Depends was it unsolictored marketing text or had you requested something?

If you're a caller to the show, I believe that Babestation apply their 'connection charge' by sending you a text after your call. I'm not certain of this though as I don't call the show.

If you call the short code of any of the BS channels from a mobile, you'll receive a text saying "Thanks for calling" or something to that effect. It's £1.50 or £2 depending on the channel called.

I get that yes, but I also randomly thorughout the day get a text around the lines of something like "Hey AMY here got new nickers on gimme a call or txt *insert random number* xxx"

and then I get a popup saying I just spent £1.50 or £2 >_>

I would but I'm kind of paranoid it will leech another £2 or something >_<

I get those kind of messages too, but they don't charge me, thank goodness. Surely it's better to risk losing the £2 or whatever just in case it does work Huh

Edit: Texting "Stop", that is.

Yeah...being ripped off = not cool.
You should sort this out soonest. Text "We have your puppy...now stop it."

No, make that "kitten"; I love pups too much.

Gah! I wouldn't give a toss about a kitten if I were them now, would I? It'll only grow up and eat small wild animals and domestic pet fish from other people's gardens. "puppy" it is then.

ps - "geranium"?...
