Should Scotland start up a babe channel - Scottishbloke - 06-05-2011 18:30

Picture the scene Scotland has a referendum on Independence and we vote yes so that will then mean our own separate laws and hence no Ofcom as they will only have control over England. And with this being Scotland I very much doubt we would waste any money on any kind of TV regulator. Let's be honest the weather up here is allways shit so we need something to keep us entertained and warm on these dreach and dreary nights. Your thoughts please.

You must be joking we would never get allowed a babe channel in Scotland, remember it is scottish councils that are banning sex shops and lap dance clubs

That would be a great idea if it were that simple. Ofcom still wouldn't allow it to be broadcast in England no matter where the signal is coming from. So i guess we will all be moving to Scotland then.

No - have you not seen scottish televisual output?!?!?!?

It would be shockingly cheap and nasty - and most likely chock full of neds
And considering most people already complain about what's seen as "scams" by the channels and their phone/text systems - I hate to think what some 'Glasgae' ned would be up to Wink

Not to mention the fact that Scotland is notoriously bad at making something within a reasonable budget - just look at Holyrood.
So they'd overspend on the hiring of studio space/the setting up of sets/the hiring of babes - resulting in extortionate call prices Rolleyes

*but if your babe apparrel of choice is a faded pink shellsuit, white Nike's and a scrunchy - then you go right ahead Big Grin

would be a good idea
avoiding the above stereotypes, you get some lovely women in Scotland
mainly Glasgow
wouldn't fancy any fifers or people from the highlands on it though
but doubt it will get made
and if it did, they would stereotype the fuck out of it with tartan decor probably and other things
