Converting Files - jay$ - 30-05-2011 21:18 Hi, can anyone suggest a programme for copying mkv. files to playable DVD i tried one called MKV Video 2DVD but playback on my TV was realy jumpy i want something that will keep the same quality of the origonal video file any suggestions?? RE: converting files - aceman65 - 31-05-2011 02:12 Both ConvertXtoDVD & WinAVIVideoConverter should work, but I'm not possitive it will keep the sound in sync with the second one. I'm sure there are others, but I haven't tried them, as I don't work with MKV files that often. RE: converting files - terence - 31-05-2011 07:51 i use convertxtodvd. it's lightweight, easy to navigate and efficient at what it does. RE: Converting Files - jay$ - 31-05-2011 12:25 Thanks guys i just got this programme convertxtodvd and converted a file with no problems. great picture quality, same as the original file. def the best programme to use RE: Converting Files - steven6 - 31-05-2011 15:07 Any video converter is a good 1 too, http://download.cnet.com/Any-Video-Converter/3000-2194_4-10661456.html RE: Converting Files - LODOS - 01-06-2011 16:59 i need to convert videos to mp4 for my ipod will the programs mentioned above work or will i need somthing else RE: Converting Files - aceman65 - 01-06-2011 17:26 (01-06-2011 16:59 )LODOS Wrote: i need to convert videos to mp4 for my ipod will the programs mentioned above work or will i need somthing else They above one's are primarily used to create files ready for burning to DVD. But WinAVIVideoConverter will do it, if you have the codec. But I would recommend using VLC Media Player to convert to mp4, as it's pretty good at converting any format to mp4. RE: Converting Files - LODOS - 01-06-2011 18:07 thanks for the help converting files - jay$ - 20-05-2012 17:36 hi, does anyone know any good programmes for converting large .MOV files to other formats such as avi , mpg or mp4 without loosing any video quality?
