Getting rid of sexstation texts - Bobby - 02-08-2011 20:02 Hi, I have recently been getting more and more marketing texts from sexstation (aka rampant tv). They dont cost me to recieve, but recently the frequency has more than doubled. Please please can someone tell me how to stop them ? They are from long mobile numbers rather than short codes, so texting "stop" does not help. Also my network provider cant block them. Please please someone tell me how to stop recieving them, i guess i need to get in touch with sexstation somehow.... thanks RE: Getting rid of sexstation texts - Bobby - 05-08-2011 19:57 Does anyone have any answers?? RE: Getting rid of sexstation texts - skateguy - 05-08-2011 20:14 Stopping text messages from regular numbers isn't easy. The ease/possibility can depend on your mobile phone provider and what policies they have with regards to allowing their customers to block messages from certain numbers. I should take a look at your mobile phone provider's website and/or contact them. Of course, if the text messages are from a legitimate company (as opposed to being nuisance texts or spam), you should also be able to contact the company in question, request that your number be removed from their database and that they stop contacting you. RE: Getting rid of sexstation texts - Bobby - 07-08-2011 10:11 my network provider cant block them. so i need to contact the company (sexstation) and ask for my number to be removed from their database, but how do i do this ? Look up the number on the payphone plus website and it should give you a contact email for that number.
