use hjspits browse function click on part 1, click start and it will do the rest. as long as all the files are named concecutivley it will join all available parts. so part1.oo1 part1.oo2 part1.oo3 will al join but part1.001 part2.002 part3.003 wont neather will part1.001 part2.001 part3.001.
som hjsplit files can also be labled .r01 .r02 .r03 normaly it means the finished file is a rar archive and you will need winrar to extract it.

I can never get hj split to work....winrar is so much easier...it would be nice if there was just one tool to join files...

With HJSplit I find it works best if all of the parts are moved into one folder, rather than left on the desktop. Just a quirk of the program I think. Where possible I like winRAR or 7zip for joining files if they've been compressed, but for none compressed files HJSplit is about as easy as it gets to be honest.

Just joined the 2 downloaded "Amanda-Morgan" video files mentioned in Babestation channel very easily with linux.
One line of typing did it.
cat filename1 filename2 > outputfilename
Wasn't sure it would work but it did. Full video played ok.
Saved me the trouble of moving files to my Windows computer and installing HJSPLIT.
BTW the video is well worth downloading.

To join vids that's split into different parts use HJSplit
How to use HJSplit - Click the above HJSplit link & download any 1 you want.
Open it & click on Join
After you've clicked join open the folder you saved the vids in
Then double click the correct file name
When you've done that the software will automatically join all of the vids together.

Can anybody help me please,trying to join downloads with hjsplit,but can not seem to get my downloads to show up when I press the join prompt,if I press the other prompts e,g checksum,compare the downloads are all there,but not on join.what have I done wrong,

What are the full extensions of the files you're trying to join - i.e. the bits after the filename and fulstop(s)?
