Recording from freeview set up box with a freeview built in tv - bigguy01 - 16-08-2011 17:07 I am thinking of getting a freeveiw box, i have freeview built in tv, and what to know can i record from freeview box and watch freeview built-in at the same time? RE: Recording from freeview set up box with a freeview built in tv - gunflash10 - 16-08-2011 17:12 Im sure as long as you have two independent tuners with separate feeds you will be able to do just that it really shouldnt be a problem if you have that set up. ![]() RE: Recording from freeview set up box with a freeview built in tv - bigguy01 - 16-08-2011 17:19 thanks gunny, just at had a look at the setup on my tv it has different feeds (tv, av1, av2(dvd), av3) so i assume the settop box goes onto av1 and i set the channel on the box and select av1 on dvd and then watch "tv" feed. just need some re-assurance before pruchasing a settop box and wasting money. RE: Recording from freeview set up box with a freeview built in tv - Jam Da Man - 17-08-2011 12:20 Yes, you can have 1 or more set top boxes / recorders connected, via scart / HDMI sockets. So long as the signal from your aerial is strong enough to get a decent signal to your devices (and you have enough electrical sockets) you should be fine. ![]() Switch between which device you are viewing via your TV remote. (same as, for example, switching between viewing Xbox, Playstation, VCR, DVD etc.) The instruction manual included with the set-top box should include set-up instructions, as might your TV manual, if you still have it. ![]() |
